A beloved classic to life this winter with “A Year with Frog and Toad,” directed by Sandy Slayton. This charming musical adaptation of Arnold Lobel’s popular children’s books follows the whimsical adventures of two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog, and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons. Featuring a cast of 20, including adults, teens and children, this heartwarming production will delight audiences of all ages. 
After the performance on Saturday morning, Feb 28, join us for a fun-filled lunch with Frog, Toad, and all their friends, just upstairs in the banquet hall.  The $10 ticket includes kid friendly Frog and Toad themed foods (think Pinterest inspired) including frog juice and of course cookies!   There will be games, Facepainting,  and  a special set with props from the show perfect for taking photos with Frog, Toad, Snail or your other favorite characters. 

A full day of unscripted chaos with Mettlesome!

3-5 p.m. -- Improv Workshop: Learn to think on your feet. Get a crash course in the basics of long-form improv comedy. Students will get on their feet and cover basic improv princilpes like "yes-and" and building a scene together. 

7:30 p.m. -- The Performance: A high-octane, hilarious show starring the teachers and performers of the award-winning Mettlesome Theatre in Durham, N.C.
